The S.M.A.R.T.™ Process focuses on 5 main objectives:

Like most management processes, S.M.A.R.T. ™ is an acronym relating to a process method that affords a continuous renewal of business objectives and supporting processes.  (for more information click here) 

  • Strategize
    • Develop goals and objectives that strategically align the Board, Management and the club’s operations
  • Measure
    • Measure the current situation, keep the core, and identify the key areas that require improvement
  • Analyze
    • Develop an objective system of evaluation using S.M.A.R.T. Numbers (KPIs) to align the current situation with the desired goals and objectives
  • Rhythm
    • Implement an improvement process that includes plans (by individual, group and/or department), communications, training, measurement of key metrics, and monitoring of performance against plan
  • Tune
    • Conduct periodic reviews of program success using proven tools, adjust plans as necessary and continuously plan for further improvement
